Afternoon Ride to Melres — First Ride Two-Up

An afternoon ride with my girlfriend Sofia, our first proper trip with her on the back. We took the long way through Freixo and followed the river all the way to Melres instead of the highway, which would’ve been about 15 minutes quicker. Good day for riding: sunny and hot, but windy enough to keep us cool. I spent most of the afternoon reading Red Rising and nearly finished it, while Sofia knitted herself a sweater.
